"I just wanted to let you know how much I appreciated the visit from Doug. Not only did he give an excellent & highly motivational training, but he also went into the field with one of our reps and helped save an account."

Thanks for all of your help.

Doug Abdelnour

doug1Doug Abdelnour began his sales career in Toledo, Ohio in 1976 after serving proudly in the US Navy during the war in Viet Nam. He attended the University of Toledo beginning his career in sales and marketing. Doug then worked as an Account Executive for AT&T receiving some of the best sales and management training offered at that time in the country.

doug-abdelnour-1In 1986, Doug was part of the team that was named #1 in the nation for Yellow Pages Sales results. His contribution that year was selling over 32% over his goal.Prior to accepting and early retirement package Doug was awarded numerous sales awards within the sales organization. In 1993, he was chosen to manage a sales team where his teams went on to perform above and beyond sales objectives. He has promoted and trained a number of sales people who now hold senior sales/management positions around the country today. In 1996, Doug was the only AT&T yellow pages sales manager to receive the highest award possible for a Sales Manager, The Leadership Award. His sales career has spanned decades and still maintains his own sales team to this day.

In 2000, Doug continued his career by training salespeople across the country on how to use Call Measurement Services. It was at this time he saw the benefit of bringing a training “hit team” into a program to spice up the campaign and watched as a spike developed in sales for the trained team. This required him presenting “Back to Basic’s sales training and then demonstrating and observing in the field riding with the sales reps and managers. Working with "live ammuition" can really remain in the reps mind and allows a point of reference for the sales representatives.

With over 30 years experience, and over half of that experience managing both successful inside and outside sales team, Doug also brings an element of fun and entertainment to the training. Doug is also an amateur magician and has learned to incorporate his magician skills into a motivating part of his presentation. Doug is also a proud veteran of the United States Navy.
